Paul’s Featured Artists for the weekend of 9/1 broadcast … Canton Junction, the exciting new quartet that’s an outgrowth of the music ministry at Pastor John Hagee’s Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas. But, for a church quartet, it’s unusual in that you probably already know the names of the group’s members — Matt Hagee, Aaron Crabb, Michael Sykes and Tim Duncan. With that kind of lineup you know it has to be good. We’ll talk with all four members and hear five songs from their debut CD, including one that Aaron wrote.
Other guests on the program include Scott Fowler (Legacy Five); Larry Ford; Phil Collingsworth (Collingsworth Family); and Ben Harris (Southern Sound).

On the weekend of August 25th … it’s Paul’s official Singing News Top 20 Countdown edition for the month, based this time on the song chart appearing in the September issue of Singing News magazine.
On the weekend of August 18th … Paul’s Featured Artist is singer/songwriter Sheri LaFontaine. He’ll talk with her about some of the songs on her current Something More CD — all songs that she wrote. But he’ll also chat with her about songs she’s written for other groups, such as the Whisnants, the Sisters and others, and you’ll hear those songs as well. And, you’ll hear the heart of Sheri has for musical ministry.
And, his Artist Spotlight guests on this program are the Torchmen from Ontario. He’ll chat with Mike Moran of the group and you’ll hear some of their latest songs. Mike will tell you what it’s like being a “Southern Gospel quartet” north of the border!

Paul’s Featured Artists on the weekend of August 11th broadcast are the King’s Heralds, a quartet that dates all the way back to 1927! Members, and even the group’s name, changed over the years. But the quartet, which travels all over the world to sing, still specializes in tight quartet harmonies. Among the members is bass Jeff Pearles, known for his years with several top Southern Gospel quartets. Songs will be from their current Wake Up Church CD, including their outstanding version of the current #1 song in Southern Gospel music.
Paul’s Featured Artists on the weekend of August 4th will be the Hyssongs, a family trio from Rockport, Maine, comprised of Dell and Susan Hyssong and their son, Richard. You’ll hear songs from their new CD, “Blessed.” Learn why many of their songs offer encouragement to Christian ministries and individuals alike. Included will be their recent radio hit, I’ll Stand Up And Say So.
