Wes Hampton - A Man Like MeHyssongs - Blessed CDPaul’s Featured Artists on the weekend of August 4th will be the Hyssongs, a family trio from Rockport, Maine, comprised of Dell and Susan Hyssong and their son, Richard. You’ll hear songs from their new CD, “Blessed.” Learn why many of their songs offer encouragement to Christian ministries and individuals alike. Included will be their recent radio hit, I’ll Stand Up And Say So.

And, he’ll have an Artist Spotlight visit with Wes Hampton, a frequent guest on the program as a member of the Gaither Vocal Band. But this time, Paul’s visiting with him to talk about his new solo CD, A Man Like Me. You’ll learn why he always wanted to do a solo recording and about the solo concerts he’s doing “on the side” while remaining part of the Gaither Vocal Band.

Other guests this week include Scott Fowler (about the search for a new bass singer); Ernie Haase (about doing something he’s never done before); Gordon Jensen (about his most-widely-recognized song ever); Dennis Humphries (about recently being beaten and robbed).
