On the edition for the weekend of April 14th, Paul’s Featured Artists are the Nelons, who’ll introduce you to some of the songs from their new CD entitled Come On Home. Jason, Kelly and Amber will tell you about some of the special songs on this recording. Kelly will tell you how she felt about re-recording the first song she ever recorded with the Rex Nelon Singers when she was 16. You’ll find out who helped produce the CD — and what good advice he had for the Nelons.

And, in his Artist Spotlight … the guests are today’s Florida Boys — Charlie Waller, Paul Hyde, Eddie Broome and Chip Cooper. This is the revival of the legendary group that was in the forefront of Southern Gospel quartet singing for more than five decades. Each of the members will tell you a bit about themselves and their music, with songs from their Discriminately Different CD.
Finally, stopping by with comments are Charlotte Ritchie, Jim Brady and Ronnie Booth (Booth Brothers) and Susan Whisnant (Whisnants).

On this April 7th weekend … the Gospel Greats celebrates Resurrection Day … celebrating the unprecedented resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ, nearly two millennia ago!
On this Palm Sunday edition marking the start of Holy Week, all of Paul’s songs and artist comments will be about the Cross of Christ. Why is the Cross so important to us today? You’ll hear thoughts from Mike Bowling (Bowlings), Ernie Haase (Ernie Haase & Signature Sound), Ronnie Booth (Booth Brothers), Taranda Greene, Bryan Hutson, Brian Free (Brian Free & Assurance), Jason Funderburk (Driven Quartet), Matthew Browder (Browders), Aaron Hise (Whisnants), Karl Rice (Anchormen), Dennis Humphries (HisSong), and Gary Casto (Tribute Quartet).
On the weekend of March 24th, it’s the official Singing News Top 20 Countdown Edition, based on the chart of radio favorites appearing in the magazine’s April edition.
Paul’s Featured Artist on this program will be Jason Crabb. You’ll hear some songs from his new live-in-concert recording called Jason Crabb – The Song Lives On. Hear why Jason much prefers live recordings over studio work. He’ll also explain why he chose the songs he did for his recording (including many previous Crabb Family hits). He’ll talk about the encouragement he gets from his audiences. And Jason will explain why his recent book was so difficult to write.
Paul’s Featured Artists on the weekend of March 10th is another of today’s most popular quartets, the Kingdom Heirs. You’ll hear several songs from their latest CD, We Will Stand Our Ground. Steve French will explain why that title song is so timely. He’ll also explain why their recent hit, Tell Me Why, reminded him of something in his own life. We’ll also talk with Arthur Rice, Jerry Martin and Kreis French. And Jeff Chapman will explain their most unusual song, Where’s John?.
