On this first weekend in February, the Jubilee features the new and the old. Leading off, the Booth Brothers sing several of their biggest hits plus a couple of other favorites in a live performance recorded in Morristown, Tennessee in December of 2011.
Then, back to 1961 and a concert hall in Chicago, the legendary Statesmen Quartet in a performance titled Through the States. Along with Hovie Lister, the group consisted of Jake Hess, Doy Ott, Rosie Rozell and “Big Chief” Wetherington.

On this weekend of January 26th … the Jubilee picks up where it left off last week, presenting the balance of that live performance by Southern Gospel’s ambassadors to the Northwest, the Liberty Quartet and their recent Live in Oro Valley concert.
Tony Gore & Majesty lead off the Jubilee on this January 19th weekend … a concert from 1995 recorded at the Peach Festival in Alabama and released on a CD titled All Access Live. Majesty at the time consisted of John Lanier and Calvin Thornton.
On this weekend of January 12th, the Jubilee picks up from last week, returning to the Municipal Auditorium in Long Beach, California … the year is 19-63 as you go On Stage with the Blackwood Brothers. The group at that time consisted of Cecil Blackwood, J.D. Sumner, Bill Shaw, James Blackwood and Wally Varner.
For the weekend of January 5th … the Jubilee brings you a full hour of solid traditional Southern Gospel music featuring the Primitive Quartet. It’s their 2006 Live in Ashland, Kentucky performance that’s available on both CD and DVD.
