Crabb Family Live From KentuckyOn this last weekend of 2012 … it’s mostly about the Crabb Family! Yes, a full hour-and-a-quarter of fairly early Crabb Family music … a performance which took place in the year 2000 at the Mountain Arts Center in Prestonsburg, Kentucky … one that’s titled Live From Kentucky.

You’ll hear such songs as “The Lamb, the Lion and the King” along with a medley of father Gerald’s favorite compositions.

Then the Jubilee will close out the evening with a story or two from the legendary storyteller, Wendy Bagwell!

For this weekend of December 15th … the Jubilee devotes an entire evening to another historic group … this one is Conrad Cook and The Calvary Echoes. We’re not quite sure of the date – we believe early to mid 1990s – this 75-minute performance was recorded, but Live in the Smokies took place in the Townsend Church of God in the Smoky Mountains community of Townsend, Tennessee.

Cathedrals - Chicago CDAs promised, the Jubilee leads off on this December 8th weekend with the balance the Freemans concert recorded in Marion, Pennsylvania, in 1994 … titled Victory Live.

Then … the Jubilee is pleased to bring you that newly-discovered recording of the Cathedrals concert in the historic Moody Memorial Church in downtown Chicago back in 1996. Along with George and Glen, at this time the quartet included Scott Fowler and Ernie Haase, and pianist Roger Bennett.

Collingsworths - ChristmasOn this December 1st weekend … the Jubilee spotlight is on the one lady who can compete with the best of Southern Gospel’s male pianists … Kim Collingsworth. This is a concert that took place in Cincinnati’s historic Music Hall in 2008. Midway through the evening, she’s joined for a few selections by her parents and siblings, the Keaton’s.

Then, you’ll spend 40 or so minutes with the Freemans, listening to a concert recorded in Marion, Pennsylvania, in 1994 … titled Victory Live. However, this is not the full performance – the balance of it will lead off next week’s Jubilee.

This is one of a series of six live performances by the Freemans available on DVD and/or CD. You can visit their website store at:  http://www.the-freemans.com/music.html
