Then … Claude, Dean, Connie and Kim … the Hoppers … take to our Jubilee stage in a performance dating back to 1999 … as you listen to an hour of Hopper favorites, such as Steppin’ On the Clouds … from their recording titled Classics … Live in Greenville!

NQC Vol 12 - 2012On the April 13th weekend … as Southern Gospel prepares for the final National Quartet Convention in Louisville, Kentucky come September 8th … the Jubilee is pleased to bring you a full hour-and-a-quarter of highlights from the many hours of Main Stage performances in Freedom Hall during the 2012 NQC.

On this weekend of April 9th, it’s the Perrys in the spotlight . . . from 1996 and their concert recording titled Center Stage Live. At this time, Mike Bowling and Nicole Watts made up the Perrys along with Libbi and Tracy.

Then, to round out the evening, it’s a collection of the Crabb Family hit recordings as heard in live performance … from one of the last recordings to be released of this family that had such a prominence in Southern Gospel music before the siblings went their separate ways, The Hits … LIVE.

On this weekend March 30th… the Jubilee leads off with a truly historic name in Southern Gospel music … and Dr. Jerry Goff is on hand to introduce a full length performance by the Dixie Melody Boys … it’s their Live in Music City, U. S. A. concert recording from 1998.

Then, the second half of the evening is devoted to the Isaacs.  The year is 1989 and you are sitting in front of the big outdoor stage at Hominy Valley in Candler, North Carolina. It’s the whole family … Joe, Lily, and their children, Sonja, Beckie and Ben, and the performance titled Live at Hominy Valley.”

On this weekend of March 16th, it’s truly an historic evening on the Jubilee … as first you’re taken back to 1971 for the classic Wanted Live recorded performance by the Happy Goodmans … Howard, Sam, Rusty, Vestal and Bobby Goodman … which took place in the historic Keil Opera House in Saint Louis.

Inspirations - 12th AnniversaryThen, you remain in the same decade for another performance from nearly 40 years ago … it’s 1976 and the location is Warner Robbins, Georgia, as you join the Inspirations in celebrating their 12th Anniversary. Included in the group are names you’ll still hear today:  Martin Cook, Archie Watkins, Eddie Dietz, Mike Holcomb, Troy Burns, Jack Laws.
