On the edition for the weekend of November 16th … leading off, you’ll be uplifted and entertained by the Kingsmen Quartet for a full hour, as the clock is turned back to 1992 as they are Singing In the Sun in Orlando, Florida. At this time, the group consisted of Gary Sheppard, Jim Hamill, Tim Surrett, Parker Jonathan, Eldridge Fox, Ray Reese, Anthony Burger and Greg Fox.
Next, it’s the best of the best from the year of 2008 … as heard on the stage of Freedom Hall in Louisville during the National Quartet Convention. This weekend, you’ll hear 30 minutes of these performances … with the balance to lead off next weekend’s Jubilee. From Gold City to the Booth Brothers and the Hoppers to Brian Free & Assurance … you’ll hear them all over these two weekends … as they sounded in 2008!

As the 2013 National Quartet Convention is about to get under way, the Jubilee turns the clock back 10 years … to spend one-hour-and-a-quarter in Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky, listening to the best of the best from 2003 and the performances at that year’s NQC. You’ll hear from 19 different groups, including the one and only George Younce, with Signature Sound helping out, singing “Supper Time.” Do you remember Gold City’s “That Little Baby?” You’ll hear it during this broadcast!
With the National Quartet Convention of 2013 just ahead … the Jubilee for the weekend of August 24th leads off with a very rare recording from 50 years ago … which may well be the first-ever recording released of performances on the stage of the National Gospel Quartet Convention. The location was Memphis, the year was 1963 and during this 40-minute recording you’ll hear the Blackwood Brothers, the Stamps, the Statesmen, the Kingsmen, the Speers and the Oak Ridge Quartet.
The Jubilee leads off on this weekend of July 27th by turning the clock back to September of 2000. Who were Southern Gospel’s favorites that year? Stay tuned, as you’ll be treated to a full hour of performances taking place on the main stage of Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky 13 years ago.
On this last weekend in June … the Jubilee begins with the balance of the much-requested Cathedrals Live in Atlanta concert from 1983, which actually took place in the suburb of Marietta, Georgia, at the Cobb County Civic Center. The group at that time consisted of Glen Payne, George Younce, Kirk Talley, Mark Trammell and Roger Bennett.
