Hemphills Louisiana LiveHoppers, Shoutin' TimeLeading off this weekend of March 31st … the Jubilee features a concert recording that is now nearly 12 years old, which we think is a little hard to believe. It’s the Hoppers Shoutin’ Time performance, released in July of 2000.

Today, it’s still the same family group goin’ strong with no indication of slowing down. Has their sound changed over these 12 years? If so, how? Send us an E-mail with your thoughts.

Then … the remainder of the evening originates from the small community of Winnsboro, Louisiana. However, there’s nothing small about the performance you’ll hear. From 1983, it’s the Hemphills and the first portion of their concert recording titled Louisiana Live . . .

Quinton Mills, Live UprisingSpencers LiveComing on the weekend of March 3rd, the evening leads off with what is billed as A Sensational Spencer Concert … so named because it features not only the Kevin Spencer & Friends trio, but Kevin’s parents as well … longtime Gospel singing favorites, Barbara and J. B. Spencer.

Then, it’s a performance from 20 or more years ago by longtime Gospel singer and evangelist Quinton Mills . . . who you’ll hear introduced at the beginning of this concert as “the Indian from North Carolina.” It takes place in Dayton, Ohio, and is titled Live … Uprising.
