Rado DaysGetting the Jubilee under way on the weekend of May 5th … it’s the Freemans with a performance recorded in Bristol, Tennessee, back in 1990 titled Bring Back the Good Ole Days.

Then, it’s an encore of the Proclaimers Quartet recording titled Radio Days . . . a re-creation of the old radio DJ show hosted by J. Bazzel Mull, who was assisted by his wife, known simply as “Lady Mull.” Even though they weren’t artists as such, both played significant enough roles in this genre to have been inducted into the Southern Gospel Music Hall of Fame. This is a fun presentation you shouldn’t miss!

McKameys, Gone_to_Meetin'Whisnants - New Day Dawning CDOn the weekend of April 28th … the Jubilee leads off with the Whisnants and their 2006 recorded performance titled New Day Dawning. It’s a great hour-long concert that took place at the Calvary Baptist Church in Normal, Illinois and is still available on DVD as well as CD at www.whisnants.com.

Another longtime group that’s still on the road … the McKameys … will round out this evening with their half-hour concert performance dating to 1988, titled Gone To Meetin’

Then, for the balance of this week’s Jubilee … spend a worshipful hour with Ann Downing. Yes, she’s a member of those Downings who presented so many spirit-filled concerts from those years so long ago. This recording is titled Tell Me Again … LIVE! and dates to 2002.

Then you’ll have the opportunity to spend 40 minutes listening to some vintage Anchormen, and a 1992 performance recorded at Johnston Community College in Smithfield, North Carolina.
