The Happy Goodmans

Daniel features a radio special produced in 1990 by Word Records to promote the final album from the Happy Goodman Family, “Reunion.” Listen to clips from that piece of history, plus conversation between Howard, Vestal, Rusty, and Sam.

Special guests include Dolly Parton and Bill Gaither. Even though originally produced as a promotional effort for the new album, this special serves as a good history lesson on the evolution of the Happy Goodman Family from its beginning through to the early 1990s.
