Paul’s Featured Artists on this program for the weekend of November 3^rd are the members of the Tribute Quartet with songs from their new CD entitled Our Anthem. You’ll find out why they chose such an unusual song as Homesick Angel for their current radio release. You’ll hear an outstanding song called The Song Of Heaven, along with a song of encouragement, The Time Is Now, and others, as Paul visits with Gary, Josh, Riley and Anthony.

In a Songwriter Spotlight segment, Paul will have three songs from the Singing News Fan Awards “Favorite Songwriter” for 2012, Rodney Griffin. These are songs he wrote that have been recorded recently by top groups other than his own (Greater Vision). You’ll find the stories behind these songs most interesting.

Finally, you’ll hear chats with Paul Harkey, the new bass singer with Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, and find out why joining this group was, for him, a long-time ambition, plus Bill Gaither and Dean Hopper.

On the weekend of January 28^th … it’s Paul’s monthly official Singing News Top 20 Countdown Edition, with the countdown based on the magazine’s monthly top-tunes chart appearing in their February issue. (The countdown edition airs on our final broadcast each month and is based on the following month’s published chart.)

His Featured Artists, for the first time as such, are the father-son duo, Wilburn & Wilburn. This is Jonathan Wilburn (formerly with Gold City and, before that, the Wilburns) and his son, Jordan. Paul talks with them about how this new musical ministry came about. You’ll find out who really wanted to do this — father or son! And, of course, we’ll have several songs from their new Family Ties CD.

Finally … other guests include Rodney Griffin (Greater Vision); Jim Brady (as a songwriter); Lauren Talley Alvey (about her songs and what she’s finding out about married life) … plus you’ll hear about the return of Poet Voices and more.

Paul also features a special “songwriter” segment with three songs written or co-written by Rodney Griffin. He’ll explain what inspired the songs, recorded by three different groups.
