Fair Haven Qt - RenfroNaomi and the Segos - LIVEOn the Jubilee this Memorial Day weekend … you’ll begin with the old and travel all the way to the new! Leading off … it’s the legendary Sego Brothers and Naomi … and their 1974 concert performance, Live at Hallelujah Square.

Then, the music takes a brief break so you can enjoy a story or two by the legendary storyteller, Wendy Bagwell.

Finally, to round out this week’s Jubilee … you’ll hear the first portion of a recently recorded performance by the Fair Haven Quartet that took place at the Old Barn Theater in Renfro Valley, Kentucky. Even if you don’t recognize the Fair Haven name, you’re likely familiar with their much requested song, Who Moved the Piano.

Rochesters Live in the Bluegrass StateNaomi and the Segos - LIVEOn this February 4th weekend, the Jubilee has two first-time performances. Leading off will be 55 minutes with Naomi and the Segos.  As of this writing, we have no information as to the date for this concert, but in introducing them, the host announces “Morganton, North Carolina” as the location. The CD/DVD recording is simply labeled Naomi & the Segos – LIVE.

Then, for the balance of the show, it’s the first half of a performance recorded just months ago at the Daystar studios in Ashland, Kentucky … the Rochesters LIVE in the Bluegrass State.

Naomi and the Segos, Old FriendsOn the weekend of November 5th, the Jubilee presents two full-length performances … leading off with Naomi & the Segos, who are joined by Ed O’Neal and the Dixie Melody Boys for a concert they titled Old Friends.

Then, the second half of the evening will be devoted to a performance by the quartet known as The Men Of Music … recorded during a concert that took place eight or so years ago at a Gospel Singing Jubilee event in Pensacola, Florida. The group at the time was made up of Bobby Clark, Jim Wesson, Cleon Yates and Mike Bullock, with Buddy Burton playing piano.
