For more than twenty years, Karen Peck has had her own group, Karen Peck & New River. But on this weekend of April 13th she’ll be — individually — Paul’s Featured Artist, with songs from her new solo CD called How You Walk The Miles. You’ll hear why she chose some of the songs she included, especially her current radio hit, God Lives There. And she’ll tell you about a few of the songs she wrote for this recording. You’ll also find out why there were more people singing on some of her solo songs than sing on her group recordings!
And … in the Artist Spotlight: You’ll remember Tony Gore from his years with the Wilburns and with his own group, Tony Gore & Majesty. If you haven’t heard much from him in recent years, it’s because he’s been developing his restaurant. Yes, Tony’s quite a chef. But he is still singing. In fact, he has a brand new solo CD out called God’s Been Good. You’ll hear that title song and two others. And Tony will tell you all about his personalrecipe for blending Gospel music and great food.
Finally … Paul will announce the Grand Prize Winner of the recent 2013 Great Annual Giveaway, plus he’ll have a segment remembering Gordon Stoker.

Coming up on Daniel Britt & Friends for the week of February 13th … Daniel is joined by Karen Peck as guest co-host! It’s the monthly broadcast where all ears are attuned to what’s new in Southern Gospel music. On this weekend of October 29th … it’s Paul’s once-a-month official Singing News Top 20 Countdown Edition, based this time on the top-tunes chart appearing in that magazine’s November issue. The Singing News chart is based on the amount of airplay current songs receive at Southern Gospel radio stations across the land.
