On this January 21st weekend, the Jubilee is pleased to present another very special anniversary concert. On the recent New Year’s Gospel Jubilee, enLighten presented the celebration of Gold City’s 10th anniversary.

Now, add another 10 years to that … as this weekend you can sit back and enjoy all hour and 35 minutes of their 20th birthday party, which took place at the Graceland Community Church in Franklin, Tennessee, on May 21st, 2000 … and featured the lineup of Jay Parrack, Jonathan Wilburn, Mark Trammell, and Tim Riley.

Gold City, Somebody's ComingOn the edition for the weekend of November 12th … Paul’s Featured Artists are … It’s been about three years since Gold City came out with their last regular recording. Now, they have a brand new one called Somebody’s Coming. He’ll talk with all of the singers, including their two newest members, and you’ll hear songs from that new CD. Included, of course, will be their new radio song that everyone’s talking about, Peter, James And John. You’ll even find out which group member is nicknamed “Pumpkin.”

Kings Gold 2Leading off the Jubilee on the weekend of October 1st … as recorded in the Mount Paran North Church of God in Marietta, Georgia, in 1993 … it’s the second half of KingsGold II… the second of four recorded performances featuring the combination of the Kingsmen Quartet and Gold City.

Then, the clock is turned back just four years as you listen to the highlights from the National Quartet Convention of 2007, featuring much the same lineup of group names as were heard on the Freedom Hall stage again this year.
