Leading off on the week of June 1^st with their much-requested Who Moved the Piano … you’ll hear the balance of Fair Haven Quartet’s recently-recorded Live in Renfro Valley concert.

Then, it’s the Primitive Quartet, a group that’s played a major role in Gospel music for several decades. And … the Jubilee is privileged to bring you a full concert by the Primitives recorded at their outdoor performance theater in Hominy Valley, North Carolina, a full dozen years ago … simply titled Live from Hominy Valley 2001.

On the Jubilee this Memorial Day weekend … you’ll begin with the old and travel all the way to the new! Leading off … it’s the legendary Sego Brothers and Naomi … and their 1974 concert performance, Live at Hallelujah Square.

Then, the music takes a brief break so you can enjoy a story or two by the legendary storyteller, Wendy Bagwell.

Finally, to round out this week’s Jubilee … you’ll hear the first portion of a recently recorded performance by the Fair Haven Quartet that took place at the Old Barn Theater in Renfro Valley, Kentucky. Even if you don’t recognize the Fair Haven name, you’re likely familiar with their much requested song, Who Moved the Piano.
