Memphis ShowOn the weekend of September 28th … more great male quartet singing. This time, it’s the first in a series of encore broadcasts of performances from June’s 2013 Memphis Quartet Show. From Friday evening, you’ll first hear from the Dixie Echoes followed by the Kingsmen Quartet. Just as it took place on the stage in the Cook Convention Center, each group will sing a 30-minute set and then each return for a shorter set … a full 90 minutes of music total!

Allen Family, 2012On the broadcast for the weekend of September 22nd … one of today’s most popular Southern Gospel trios will be Paul’s Featured Artists! The Booth Brothers Ronnie Booth, Michael Booth and Jim Brady will tell you why they’re so excited about their new CD called A Tribute To The Songs of Bill & Gloria Gaither. You’ll hear their solid new versions of some Gaither classics, such as Because He Lives. You’ll find out why they included two new Gaither songs in addition to the classics. And you’ll hear what the Booth Brothers sound like as a quartet, with a special guest bass singer on one of the songs. (Guess who!)

Paul’s special Artist Spotlight guests are the Allen Family, which most likely is Southern Gospel music’s largest nuclear family groups — mom, dad and eight children! You’ll hear all about this gifted group that lives on their bus 365 days a year, traveling and singing across the land. He’ll visit with Todd and Michelle Allen and hear three of the group’s latest songs from their All In The Family CD.

Finally … you’ll hear from all three of the new members of the Dixie Echoes, and from Matt Fouch, the new bass singer for Legacy Five.
