Collingsworth Family
On the weekend of October 5th broadcast, Paul’s Featured Artists are one of today’s most popular family groups, the Collingsworth Family. Included will be songs from two brand new CDs of theirs — The Lord Is Good and Hymns From Home. You’ll find out why one of their biggest problems for The Lord Is Good was having too much good song material. And you’ll learn the unusual way their hymns CD was inspired — and the unusual setting for the recording (and a companion DVD video).
And, he’ll have an Artist Spotlight visit with the Greesons, a family group from Chickamauga, Georgia. Songs will be from their latest CD entitled “I’ve Come A Long Way.” Be listening for his visit with the Greesons and hear about their heart for ministry through music.
Finally … you’ll hear from Ernie Haase (about a new song he co-wrote for the Cathedrals Family Reunion CD) plus Ivan Parker (about his current songs and future recording plans).

On this May 18th weekend … the Jubilee is devoted entirely to an hour-plus performance featuring all six members of the fantastically-talented Collingsworth family … Phil, Kim and their four children. Recorded at the Central Church of the Nazarene in Flint, Michigan, and accompanied by a full orchestra directed by Wayne Hahn, this is their Fear Not Tomorrow project.
All of the music on the weekend of December 15th will, once again, be Christmas music — celebrating this joyous season that just seems to be “made” for music! Likewise, artist comments will be pertaining to this most wonderful time of the year.
Paul’s Featured Artists on this program will be one of the most gifted of the family groups singing today — the Collingsworth Family. They’ll share half-a-dozen songs from their brand new Christmas CD entitled “Feels Like Christmas.” And it does! You’ll hear their renditions of some classic Christmas carols, including “Beautiful Star of Bethlehem,” along with some exceptional new Christmas songs. You’ll especially enjoy “My Gift Is Me,” sung by Olivia Collingsworth. We’ll talk with the family about why they did a Christmas recording and why (and how) they chose the songs they included.
