On this weekend of August 18th, the Jubilee presents an encore broadcast the second half of A Musical Biography, the tribute to the beloved career and talents of J.D. Sumner. J.D. has been listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as being the World’s Lowest Bass Singer, and he’s credited with the introduction of the tour bus to the Southern Gospel music industry in 1955. Also, he and James Blackwood were the creators of the National Quartet Convention in 1957.
