Johnny & Judy Parrack

On Daniel’s broadcasts for the weeks of October 15th and October 22nd … he’s joined by both father and son, who individually are names recorded in the history of Southern Gospel music! Johnny Parrack is best known for his time during the 1970s, considered the golden years of the Kingsmen Quartet, singing first tenor. His son, Jay Parrack, is known for an equally impressive tenure (also singing first tenor) with Gold City. Over these two hours, Daniel chats with both father and son, talking about their musical highlights and family memories of “like father, like son.” Hear Johnny describe the recording session of “Look for Me at Jesus’ Feet” involving the use of cue cards because of forgotten lyrics and learn the reason behind Jay’s decision to leave Gold City at a moment of great transition of the group. These guys are both family men in every sense, and their heart will certainly comes through loud and clear.

Any fan of Kingsmen Quartet or Gold City Quartet music will love the music and discussion on this two-part series, coming up on these Next two edition of Daniel Britt & Friends!
