On the weekend of August 17th … picking up where the Jubilee left off last week, the Chuck Wagon Gang returns to let you hear the balance of that concert recorded in the Pigeon Forge Convention Center in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, during the Summer of 2008.
Then, it’s an encore of the much-acclaimed Wilburns performance which took place at the Civic Center in Bessemer, Alabama, on July 21st, 1990 … yes, it’s the one titled Alabama Lightning.
For the weekend of December 3rd … in memory and honor of the late Jackie Wilburn … the Jubilee presents the 2003 performance titled The Wilburns Reunion. Recorded at Crabbfest 2003 in Owensboro, Kentucky, it features the members of the Wilburns at that time, Elaine and Jackie Wilburn, Gary Casto, Jimmy McMillan and Josh Singletary … and they are joined by son Jonathan Wilburn and Tony Gore.
After the hour-plus Wilburns concert concludes, you’ll hear that most famous of Wendy Bagwell stories about his encounter with the rattlesnakes and two selections from a new series of CDs carrying the name of Mountain Glory Gospel Singers featuring Eva Mae Lefevre and Arthur Rice.
