On the weekend of September 14th … Paul’s Featured Artists will be one of today’s best-known and in-demand quartets, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound. They’ll be sharing some of the songs from their current Glorious Day CD and telling you why those songs are special to them. Included will be their big hit, Sometimes I Wonder, along with the title song and four others. This is their first recording featuring their new bass singer, Paul Harkey.

He’ll also have an Artist Spotlight visit with the Arenos, a trio comprised of Jonathan Areno and his two grown children, Penny Wade and Nathan Areno. You’ll hear songs from their current My Life CD, and you’ll find out why their music is such a combination of bluegrass, country and Southern Gospel. Included will be their current radio song, Walk The Talk, and you’ll find out how it encompasses what their ministry is really all about.
And … Paul has a special visit with Aaron Crabb about the new recording, Mercy, that he and his wife, Amanda, recorded. Rodney Griffin will tell you what top group passed on a song of his that went on to be a very big hit for another group. He’ll remind you about that chance for you to sing with the Cathedrals alumni in November in Fort Worth, Texas. And, on the Headline Update, Paul remembers the late Jack Laws of the Inspirations.

On this weekend of June 30th … the Jubilee leads off with a group that made quite a splash when they arrived on the Gospel music scene in 1990 … but was gone by the end of the decade. Of course, the group is Perfect Heart. From 1994, this is a performance recorded at the Forum in Jonesboro, Arkansas … simply titled Live at the Forum. At this time, the group was made up of Danny Funderburk, Dale Shipley, Mark Lanier, Mike Presnell, and Jeff Stice.
