The Jubilee leads off on this weekend of October 20^th where it left off last week … with more of the historic performances by the Blackwood Brothers Quartet as heard on WMPS Radio in Memphis during the 1950’s – the exact year we’re not able to tell you. These are from a CD that’s titled Memphis Golden Days, available at the Country Jamboree Breakfast Show in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, that’s hosted by the “R. W.” branch of the Blackwood family.

Then, you’re brought very much to the present with a 2011 performance by the Crist Family … titled Live in Charlotte and recorded at The City of Light located just outside Charlotte in South Carolina.

All of the music on the program for the weekend of December 3rd … and all of our programs right through Christmas … will be Christmas music by many of your favorite Southern Gospel artists.

Paul’s Featured Artists on this program will be the trio known as Three Bridges. We’ll visit with all three group members … Elliott McCoy, Shannon Smith and Jeremie Hudson. Songs will be from their brand new Christmas CD, Must Be Tonight. You’ll find out why these guys enjoy Christmas music so much and what they wish for you this Christmas!

Plus, Paul will have a special Artist Spotlight visit with the Crist Family, with songs from their new Christmas CD entitled Timeless – A Christmas Collection. You’ll hear their new versions of three classic Christmas carols … two you probably sing every year and one you may have never heard before.

Finally, in the Headline Update, Paul will be remembering Jackie Wilburn.
