Corrie Ten Boom, that beautiful Christian woman who survived a Nazi concentration camp during the Holocaust and then became ‘a tramp for the Lord,” said, “Forgiveness is to set a prisoner free, and to realize the prisoner was you.”
As quoted by Matthew, in Chapter 6, Verses 14 and 15 … as part of Jesus’s teaching of His disciples … He addressed “forgiving”: For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
And in Matthew 18:21 and 22, it is written: Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.

Your Opinion?
Earlier this month, Daniel Mount posted on his outstanding Southern Gospel music-related blog site a commentary titled Letter to the Editor: A Fan Manifesto, written by a mystery person who describes himself as an artist who performs at the National Quartet Convention … but has concerns about the direction this major annual event is headed. We urge you to take a few minutes to read it, along with some of the comments – at this writing, there have been 145 responses – which follow it.
Do you or have you attended the NQC? Do you agree with all or most of this writer’s points? We’d love to hear/read your thoughts on the subject … if you’ll please send along to us.
Of course, if you check the News and Views page of this website regularly, you see Daniel Mount’s daily blog postings and likely have already read this detailed listing of items that the NQC Board of Directors will do well to discuss and seriously consider for action.
