Since the family group known as the Greesons released a new recording by that title and it began to play on enLighten34, there’s been quite a flow of messages into the station’s mailbox requesting that it be played.
We’re not sure whether most of these have come from enthusiastic fans wishing to bolster the group with the hopes of seeing it appear on the Singing News Top 80 chart (which it has) … or having heard about and felt the Lord’s saving grace being communicated through this song, are truly being moved by it. We’d like to believe that it’s the latter and the folks writing are speaking from the depths of their hearts.
With the prayer that the message embodied in A Sinner’s Prayer might touch even one more heart through the reading of its words, we are providing them for you here:

Disregarding our questioning statement above, we can tell you that the Greesons’ popularity definitely continues to grow, as does the impact they are having for the Lord. The leader of the group, Darrell Demastus … who happens to be the son-in-law of the founders of the Greesons … reports that, thanks to you the listeners of enLighten34, the sales of their recordings has increased tremendously over the past two years since Southern Gospel music became available to all of North America via XM Radio. As most of you know, the income generated through the sale of recordings is vital to keeping many artists and groups on the road and singing to the glory of the Lord and uplifting hearts.
